Welcome to the LJ Poems page. This is an open community so feel free to post your poems. Please do not post harassment in your feedback to users or you will be banned from the community.

If, at any time, you are having any issues with an individual or posts to the community, please post the link to the thread and your comment here.

Feel free to post any feedback on any poetry listed since we all grow from input. All users love to hear constructive criticism on their work, since most work reflects from the soul.

If at any time you would like to contact the admin please email Gizmo [at] undergroundnews [dot] com. Please note that you will recieve a notice from my spam filter, you will need to recieve and respond to this message to ensure you're not a bot. Please also replace the [at] and [dot] with their counterparts @ and ..

Just a few guidelines:
  1. All work is copyrighted to the user that posts it. If you want to duplicate the work in any way contact that user for permission.

  2. For the love of all that is holy, please MAKE A SUBJECT FOR ALL COMMUNITY POSTS; it looks tacky to see "no subject" on the sidebar ;)...

  3. Any distribution of someone else’s work as your own is prohibited. If you find a piece of work that is copied please leave a comment saying where the original can be found and I will take care of it.

  4. If at anytime you would like to purchase a poem or rights to a poem please be in contact with the proper author.

  5. Comments should be criticism or complements of the work not the user that posted it. Personal attacks will be deleted and repeat offenders will be banned from posting.

  6. All work is accepted but if you feel that your work might offend someone please start your post with a warning and use the lj-cut tags.

Advertisers: We do NOT allow advertisers without a prior request. If you would like to request to be able to post an advertising about your product or community please do it via email. If you do not make this request your accout will be banned from posting in this community.

LJ-Cut: If your poem is longer than 10 lines, please do us a favor and contain it within an LJ-Cut. We've been pretty leniant in the past but the pages are a lot larger than they need to be.

Spell Check: Generally we don't mind it, but we ask that you all please take the time to click the "Spellcheck Entry" option when posting. A misspelled word here and there we don't mind, but if it takes 10 minutes to read a short poem due to spelling we do mind a bit.

Reporting a Post or User: To report a user or post please comment to this thread; note that all comments are screened to this thread so all posts are between the moderators and the commenting individual.
